What is an international study tour?

This is one of the study formats at kmbs MBA programs

It provides participants with the best opportunities to study innovative businesses, learn modern approaches to solving complex strategic and operational tasks

One of the differentiating aspects of the Program is studying in the leading global universities and meeting with experts from AgriFood systems

The Ukrainian study tour and a leadership tour to the Carpathians mountains (optional)

What is the Ukrainian study tour?

This is one of the formats of MBA programs' studies at kmbs that allows participants to mix with the business, social and cultural atmosphere of the region, explore the features of doing business there, as well as explore the latest managerial approaches, strategic concepts and innovative business models
For example, the AgriFood MBA-1 Ukrainian study tour took place in three towns
Participants analyzed the prerequisites for AgriFood clusters formation in the Western Ukraine, studied one of AgriFood ecosystem's components — HoReCa

They also held a strategic session during a franchising business case study where they were able to practice first strategic level of the MBA program

What is the leadership tour?

For some participants this tour is a regular mountain peaks climbing, for others it is a challenge to oneself: both in the role of the leader and in the role of the team player
After the intellectual and physical hardships, all those who do the route experience changes inside as well as expand their scopes
During the final reflection they become aware of how differently people adapt to unusual environments

Integration of the Strategic Management Approaches
Development of capacity to implement strategies, transform organizations and manage changes
Development of the capacity to apply the approaches of individual disciplines through training in elective courses
Participants' choice of electives— adding games, simulations and cases
Work with the "in depth" decisions

Work on the master's thesis
Concept of thesises

The Master's thesis is a special training exercise that allows participants to work out the strategic concepts and logic of managing change directly in their companies
Participants begin writing their master's thesis nine months after starting their studies

Thesis defence

Demonstrates the ability not only to master the concepts taught at kmbs MBA programs, but also to present participants' own ideas of transforming their active businesses using acquired managerial approaches
All the ideas described in the master's thesis could be subsequently put into practice and become an impetus for the dynamic development of the participants' companies

Convocation

Participants who successfully defend master's degree receive MBA-diplomas
