The institutional core of the national security system, which shares a nationwide approach and is able to develop and implement system models, effectively interact in national and international dimensions, take an active part in the formation and further implementation of models and strategies of national security of Ukraine
Impact of the Program
Strengthening the capabilities of defense and security institutions
Fostering a new type of leadership and culture change in the defense and security sector, strategic and systems thinking
Strengthening of successful institutional reforms, development of inter-institutional cooperation and nationwide approach
Professional Activity - Upon completion of the Program, it will allow security and defense executives to gain a thorough understanding of Ukraine's national security policy and strategy.
A comprehensive integrated team of participants from the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other institutions of the national security system of Ukraine, who share a holistic and state-wide approach, as a multiplier that allows rapid systematic decision-making, more effective policy formulation and its consistent implementation thanks to the combination of defense, diplomatic, intelligence, industrial and domestic political capabilities

THE NATIONAL SECURITY OF UKRAINE

Learning Objectives and Outcomes

  • Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of a holistic state approach by exploring the role of non-state actors, including international governmental and non-governmental institutions.
  • Analysis of the methodology by which the national security system of Ukraine is developed, implemented and communicated; and developing an ecosystem approach to promote Ukraine's national security interests.
  • To demonstrate the relevance of the methodology of Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States in their holistic approach to the Ukrainian experience.
  • Participants will evaluate complex systems, environments, and ways of generating multidimensional variability in decision making.
