Another initiative of the graduates of the School (in particular, the groups РМВА-14, РМВА-27 and their associates) was acquisition of graphics collection by the famous Ukrainian artist of the twentieth century Fedir Krychevsky. Its managers donated it to the National Art Museum of Ukraine.
Yulia Lytvynets, Director General of NAMU, said that the graphics collection of by Fedir Krychevsky is a very important gift for the museum, since sketches, preparatory drawings, sketches of program paintings made by such prominent Ukrainian artists as Fedir Krychevsky show the artist's way, method and pattern of thinking.
This is the first time in Ukrainian practice when sponsors not only pass on works to the museum, but also care about further life of the collection, its research and publication of the monograph. So, on March 1, NAMU, kmbs community of alumni and friends will announce of a tender opening to find researchers for the collection.
According to Andrii Melnyk, a kmbs graduate who has joined both patrons projects, interaction of group members, friends and alumni of the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School aims to form shared values within the community and society, to show examples of systematic sociocultural projects support. At the same time, it helps to keep in touch, not lose each other after graduation from kmbs and do good things together.
