A second wave of the Young SDG Innovators Programme of the UN Global Compact Network Ukraine has started at kmbs
The program participants will draw up the projects aimed at transforming the strategies and processes in their companies in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.

For the second time, kmbs has launched a special education program from the UN Global Compact Network — Young SDG Innovators.

This year the participants will be the young innovators from Nova Poshta, Ukrzaliznytsia, Caparol, Farmak, DTEK, Ukrenergo, Energy Efficiency Fund and Infotech. In the course of studying they will develop projects that will transform the strategies and processes in their companies in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.

The participants were welcomed by Osnat Lubrani, UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine:

«I have no doubt that all the participants will benefit from the Program, as it is an opportunity to find innovative solutions to promote the Sustainable Development Goals in Ukraine. The achievement of 17 goals is an ambitious vision which the governments of the UN Global Compact member states can fulfil exclusively through the cooperation with the private sector. The representatives of the large transnational corporations, small and midscale business, which you stand for today, play a highly important role in realizing the Sustainable Development Goals».

The kmbs affiliation with the UN Global Compact and the launch of the Young SDG Innovators Programme in 2019 was a natural move and a start of a long-term partnership based on common values. Everyday throughout the School programs we promote the principles of the sustainable development, instruct to expand the thought bearing in mind the interests of the other social system actors and to cooperate for the better future for every Ukrainian person.

So it is no wonder that for the second year in a row the kmbs graduates come forward to become mentors for young innovators programs, to lead them through the course of the study and of the transformational projects development.

At the program opening the Executive MBA kmbs graduate — and now Head of the Supervisory Board of the United Nations Global Compact Network Ukraine — Vitaliy Vereschagin pointed out that in order to be a leader one may not necessarily have a top official status in the company. For one can change a company, a state or the world working at any position in any business area. He wished the participants to open new horizons during their study, not to limit themselves and to move towards the Sustainable Development Goals achievement together with other innovators.

kmbs congratulates the young leaders who today have decided to start the road to changes and to proactively create the future for their companies!
