During the outbound module to Lviv, Executive MBA participants explored the city and region as a holistic system—from strategic priorities to business and institutional development models, large investment projects, and the role of culture in shaping local identity.

City and Region: Development Directions

We talked about the brand of Lviv, the current development priorities, and what has already been implemented. We explored how the Lviv region can strengthen its communities through the interaction of government, business, international partners, and local initiatives.

Institutions that Change the System

Using the example of the First Medical Association of Lviv and UNBROKEN, we considered the transformation of state medicine: from the unification of separate institutions and changing the patient experience to creating an ecosystem of treatment, prosthetics, and rehabilitation.

At the Ukrainian Catholic University, we talked about an institution where education, culture, entrepreneurship, and service mutually reinforce each other.

Business Development Models

We explored how companies develop through science, innovation, network scaling, and entering international markets. Enzym Group, Kormotech, and "Podorozhnyk" became examples of different models—from long-term investments in science-intensive products to integrating thousands of points into a single system and adapting brands to different markets.

The City as a Space of Interaction

Together with architects, city authorities, and developers, we discussed who and how shapes the urban environment. The conversation centered on Lviv's long-term strategy, the responsibility of each participant, and the balance between business goals and quality of life in the city.

Long-term Investments in Ukraine

With OKKO Group, we talked about the development of a holding that unites diverse businesses and the decisions that help maintain the integrity of such a system. Using the example of the first all-season mountain resort of international format in Ukraine, GORO, we explored the creation of a large investment project where the resort, local culture, and service should come together in a single experience for the guest.

Partnership, Culture, and Identity

Using the example of the "!FEST" Emotion Holding, we talked about partnership as the foundation of development: in the interaction between co-founders, working with the team, launching new businesses, and entering international markets. A conversation with Svyatoslav Vakarchuk added another perspective—the role of culture in shaping Lviv's identity and its vision for the future.
