The award is awarded every second year to young Ukrainian artists for their contribution to the development of contemporary art.

kmbs is a long-term partner of the Award. This is important for us, because in a way we are followers of Kazimir Malevich as we carry the spirit of Ukrainian avant-garde in education and work with reality at the conceptual level.

kmbs traditionally join this event with our own award “For a breakthrough concept.” Our nominee will have additional opportunities to present his or her work: their exposition will be placed at the School, they will also be able to take part in the educational process and kmbs events as a guest speaker.
