First, the participants visited Masdar City, Sheikh Zayed Mosque, and Abu Dhabi Louvre.

This combination of attractions is not accidental. They are — in the set - revealing the specifics of modern Dubai. Masdar City is the world's first green city project, running exclusively on renewable energy with zero carbon emissions. Sheikh Zayed Mosque is also exemplary. It is one of the six most prominent mosques globally, named after the first president of the OEA, and is open to anyone, regardless of religion. Abu Dhabi Louvre — an innovative cultural project modeled on and in collaboration with the Louvre, is a cultural and museum space that should capture the productive interaction of Eastern and Western traditions to form an idea of the holistic history of humanity.

Environmental friendliness, openness, representation, and involvement.

This is how Dubai appears through the prism of cultural monuments. This approach allows the UAE to rank first in the world in 23 indicators in vital sectors, be among the leading countries in 59 hands, and be one of the top 10 in 106 indicators.

The second day of the module was dedicated to the actual business of Dubai and began at the Digital Dubai Authority. The government agency works with the private sector and government partners. Its mission is to promote the intellectual and digital transformation of Dubai.

The participants' visit to DIFC, the International Financial Center Dubai, was intense. DIFC is a special economic zone in the city, operating since 2004, and has an independent and internationally agreed regulator, judiciary, standard law system, global financial exchange, tax-friendly regime. DIFC offers companies 100% ownership without the need for a local partner. The selection of companies that can work in DIFC is difficult. In such large-scale projects, the problem is over-regulation (as mentioned by the representative of the Center at a meeting with participants).

The comments and explanations of kmbs graduate Mykola Sushko (who joined the module), the founder of the international fintech group of companies Smart Team, represented in the DIFC and DMCC clusters, were invaluable. Mykola discussed with the participants of the program the specifics of startups and innovations in Dubai, what risks should be addressed here, and how ten years of challenges eventually become a company in DIFC.

The day ended with a visit to DIFC Academy and a conversation with Karim El-Jis, Director of Sustainability Development at Dimond Developers. They talked about Net Zero Energy & Net Zero Carbon principles in the practice of developers.
