The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) conference brings together members of the business education community to discuss relevant topics such as the impact of globalization, collaborative research, creative leadership, and digital learning strategies. Its mission is to act as a catalyst for promoting and enhancing excellence in management development worldwide.

This year, for three days, about 600 top managers of business schools from around the world had the opportunity to meet with colleagues and share experiences, as well as discuss challenges for business education.  

One of the key sessions of the conference was devoted to the ethical aspects of the development of artificial intelligence, the deeper implications of this process, and how it intersects with theology, sociology, and the future of education. In particular, they discussed the importance of a balance between the achievements of artificial intelligence and human contribution. In addition, the conference discussed the prospects of industry in the context of sustainable development, global conflicts, internationalization strategies, and the transformation of management education to include social and environmental issues in programs. 

Among the speakers at the conference were Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari; Kevin Scott, CTO of Microsoft; Romano Prodi, former President of the EU; Alec Ross, former senior staff member of the administration of former US President Barack Obama, and others.
