The event subject is “The worst of times, the best of times: the ways those who tell us about Ukraine and the world change”

On February 13, the second MediaDay dedicated to Georgiy Gongadze Prize The worst of times, the best of times: the ways those who tell us about Ukraine and the world change will take place, organized in partnership with Kyiv-Mohyla Business School. Well-known journalists, editors, as well as experts, will discuss the ways the Ukrainian media field transformed.

Organizer: Georgiy Gongadze Prize, the award for journalists established by PEN Ukraine in partnership with kmbs, powered kmbs alumni platform and Ukrainian Pravda to support independent journalists.

The prize is awarded once a year on May 21, Georgiy Gongadze's birthday. 2019 winner was Vakhtang Kipiani, the founder of Istorychna Pravda publication and the author of the similarly-named TV program, the founder of the Press Archive Museum, author of books. 2020 winner is a publicist, TV, and radio presenter Pavlo Kazarin.
