The "School for Strategy Architects" met with the Ambassador of the French Republic to Ukraine, Mr. Gaël Veyssière, for a discussion focused on the future international and European security and diplomatic architecture. A diplomat with extensive experience, Amb. Gaël Veyssière served as Ambassador of France to Croatia before his appointment to Ukraine in 2023.
Participants of the joint kmbs and MSA program "School for Strategy Architects" addressed the following aspects with Amb.Veyssière, who outlined his vision on key geopolitical processes :
- Challenges of war and long-term strategic thinking
- Security guarantees for Ukraine and Europe's role
- The diplomatic balance between alliances and the protection of national interests
- Challenges of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine
- The importance of continuing reforms amidst war and of strategic thinking during crises
- France's role in supporting Ukraine and the formation of the "Coalition of the willing"
- Ukraine's path towards the EU as a strategic goal, based on reforms and shared values
Amb. Veyssière also shared practical approaches to managing international partnerships, and explained methods for resolving disagreements while maintaining trust and strategic unity. This meeting provided participants with an opportunity to access expert analytical and diplomatic insight, from the top representative of one of Ukraine's key international partners.
The "School for Strategy Architects" provides a space for developing strategic thinking through interaction with individuals that currently influence international decisions, security processes, and Europe's security and diplomatic architecture.
