Open kmbs liveThe challenges facing health systems are attracting significant public attention around the world. Ukraine is no exception. Today it is a pandemic. At the same time, further increase in life expectancy and better diagnosis will continue to mean increased spending on medicine.
How to treat it?
Should the state cover such expenses?
To what extent should a person cope with the financial burden on their own?
On January 15 at 18:00 in Virtual Live kmbs, there will be a meeting with Arsen Zhumadilov — General Director of the state enterprise "Medical Procurement of Ukraine," the only national agency that provides centralized procurement of quality drugs and medical devices from the state budget.
As part of the event, Arsen will share an overview of the state's role in socio-economic relations on the example of medical procurement: the fundamental principles, structure, challenges, and opportunities that exist today. We will also touch on the relationship between business, markets, on the one hand, and the state, on the other, on the example of ensuring public access to medicines and treatment.
Finally, Arsen will talk about his path from a graduate of the London School of Economics and an entrepreneur to understanding himself in the context of the country's development.
We invite you to join a lively, exciting discussion in Virtual Live kmbs.
The event will be held within the Swiss-Ukrainian Project "Strengthening Membership Business Associations of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises," implemented by the United Nations Development Program in Ukraine (UNDP) in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and supported by Switzerland.
